Congratulations to Andy Mckay for raising over £9,000 for the British Heart Foundation
The annual Texas Scramble Charity Golf Day returned to Erskine Golf Club at the weekend, bringing together golfers, supporters, and local businesses for an outstanding day of fundraising in memory of Jenna.
Organised once again by our very own Andy McKay from the HF Comms team, the event was a massive success, raising over £9,000 to support the life-saving work of the British Heart Foundation (BHF). HF was proud to continue its long-standing support of the tournament, return as a sponsor, and cheer on everyone taking part.

Social Value & ESG in Action
At HF, our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles goes far beyond policy documents, it is driven by our people. Supporting initiatives like Andy’s annual golf day sits at the heart of our Social Value & Community Impact strategy.
By empowering our staff to champion causes close to their hearts, we help generate real, tangible benefits for the communities around us:
- Supporting Vital Medical Research: The funds raised directly support the British Heart Foundation, an organisation that has spent nearly six decades fighting heart and circulatory diseases across the UK.
- Fostering Community Engagement: The tournament brings local businesses, friends, and families together to support a shared purpose, building stronger networks and social connections.
- Employee Empowerment: We take pride in supporting team members like Andy, whose personal dedication and hard work make an incredible difference year after year.
A huge congratulations to Andy McKay, Erskine Golf Club, and everyone who played, donated, or sponsored a hole. Raising over £9,000 is an extraordinary achievement that reflects the generous spirit of everyone involved.
