Today we get to celebrate another milestone at HF as one of our Project Managers, Danny Baldock, hits the 20-year milestone.
Twenty years ago, Danny moved from Thurso to Glasgow with a clear goal: find a job and build a future. Armed with a strong knack for numbers, he joined the HF family in 2006, starting in the main accounts department for what was then HF Electrical. It didn’t take long for his broader talents to shine through. Within just eight months, Danny made the transition to HF Controls.
What began as a hybrid role handling admin and helping out on projects quickly grew into a full immersion in the HF Controls world. When a Project Manager position opened up, Danny was the natural choice to step up. And ever since, he has become an indispensable cog in the HF Controls machine.
Ask anyone who has worked with Danny on site, and they will tell you the same thing: he brings an unmatched, cool, calm head under pressure. When complex challenges arise, his problem-solving skills and composure ensure projects are carried out to completion smoothly and successfully.
Being able to work on automated control systems has many advantages. One of them is the ability to travel and see the world while working in a job you are passionate about. That passion has taken Danny around the globe to locations including India, Indonesia and Norway, as well as right here at home in Fort William.
