HF Operative Ben Bowman Wins Health & Safety Award at Kilmarnock Project
Our corporate motto “A Company Well Connected” extends far beyond our mechanical, electrical, and security systems, it describes the deep connection we maintain between our on-site delivery and our uncompromising commitment to health and safety.
We are incredibly proud to share that HF operative Ben Bowman has been officially recognised for his outstanding safety standards, winning an Operative Health & Safety Award from main contractor Morgan Sindall Construction at the SFRS Kilmarnock site.
Consistent Adherence to Elite Safety Standards
Ben was presented with the award by Morgan Sindall’s Senior Site Manager, Stephen Doran, who highlighted Ben’s exemplary attitude toward protecting himself and those around him.
The award was specifically presented to Ben for “constantly and consistently adhering to PPE standards, including task-specific PPE standards” throughout his time on the high-profile project.
In a busy, fast-paced commercial construction environment, maintaining 100% compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), especially specialised gear required for intricate technical tasks demands immense discipline, situational awareness, and a proactive mindset. Ben’s daily commitment ensures that HF’s strict health and safety culture is translated perfectly from our policy documents straight onto the live site floor.
Corporate Recognition from the SHEQ Management Team
The news as you might expect has been was warmly celebrated across HF and our branches nationwide. Upon receiving the official notification from the site management team, our SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality) Manager, Jonathan Ring – CertIOSH, praised Ben’s work ethic:
“This is excellent news and a massive credit to Ben himself and the wider HF team. I will be speaking with Ben directly to personally thank him for his stellar commitment to working safely. When our operatives on the ground lead by example like this, it reinforces everything we stand for as a business.”
