Design & MarketingHF Electrical 1st Year apprentice Craig Rowe has won the West of Scotland 1st stage Apprentice of the year.
The competition in Dumfries this year involved elements of practical and theory work and though the standard was very high, Craig was able to come out on top.
In little over a year since beginning his apprenticeship, Craig has managed to demonstrate an exceptional skill level that belies his experience, receiving excellent feedback from his tradesmen and college. He has also shown a strong work ethic and willingness to learn that is so valued at HF. The challenge for Craig is to continue this progress to ensure he is ready to take on the best of the rest of Scotland in the National competition later this year
Everyone at HF is very proud of Craig’s achievement and delighted that his hard work and effort has been recognised in this manner. We are equally proud of all 60 + apprentices that we have across our 5 regional offices – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester and Belfast – and our 8 core disciplines – Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Air-conditioning, Fire, Security, Comms and Controls. At HF we have identified the importance of modern apprenticeships, “They are the life-blood of our industry” says Hugh R Fulton, HF Group Operations Director.
