Thank you Flash

After 14 years and 9 months, we have to say goodbye to one of the HF family as our very own ‘Flash’ Gordon Crombie is retiring this week.

Gordon joined HF and our Telecommunications business HF Comms in 2008 and in just short of fifteen years, Gordon (aka Flash) has become something of a jack of all trades for us.  Operating as a driver up and down the country, working in the store room and provided essential labour for HF Comms as the company has expanded, Flash has been a vital part of what we do for our clients in telecommunications.

From day to day operations to HF nights out, you will always find a cheeky grin on Gordon’s face and he has been a firm favourite in the Glasgow office for many years.

“Utterly dependable regardless of the task, Gordon would always give 100% . No matter what time Gordon was to be on site, he was always available………..and with a smile. Happy to help.

With ‘old school’ values and a genuine drive to not let anyone down, Gordon is perhaps the last of a dwindling breed. A rare gem and will be sorely missed. Enjoy retirement Gordon…….you thoroughly deserve it.”

At HF, we have always tried to foster a family culture within all areas of our business and members of the family, like Flash, have always been an invaluable asset to our ongoing success. At HF, we put people first and are at our strongest and most effective when we respect, value, and collaborate together. At the end of the day, we are one team.

While we will be sad to see Flash leave us, and no matter what plans he has for his retirement, we hope that he has a great time.  We will always be grateful for his dedication, enthusiasm and above all else, professionalism while working with us.
