Coming Together to Support Dave’s 10,000ft Skydiving Challenge
At HF, our strength has always come from our people. Beyond the daily work, project deadlines, and site visits, there’s a vibrant community bound by genuine friendship, teamwork, and a shared commitment to making a real difference.
That spirit is on full display as our very own Dave prepares to take on a heart-racing challenge: jumping out of an airplane at 10,000 feet on August 1st in support of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Facing Fears for a Purpose
The skydive—aptly titled Geronimo for Jenna—was organised on a tribute page created by Andy McKay in loving memory of Jenna McKay. While Dave admits he’s always had a bit of a fear of heights, he didn’t let that hold him back. Instead, he saw the perfect opportunity to step out of his comfort zone for a cause that touches so many lives.
Teamwork & Camaraderie in Action
If there’s one thing you can count on at HF, it’s that nobody takes on a challenge alone. The moment Dave announced his skydiving ambition, colleagues across the company rallied behind him, bringing both their wallets and their signature sense of humour!
From encouraging cheers to witty banter, the donation board has been buzzing with supportive messages from team members.
Thanks to this incredible company-wide backing, Dave has already smashed his initial target of £500, raising £525.00 (over £600 with Gift Aid)—with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the British Heart Foundation to fund life-saving research and support services.
Living Our ESG Values
At HF Group, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments aren’t just corporate bullet points—they are lived values embedded in our everyday culture. Supporting our colleagues’ charitable endeavors and giving back to the community is at the core of our Social responsibilities.
Creating a workplace where people support one another, forge lasting friendships, and unite for charitable causes is what makes HF Group more than just a workplace—it’s a community where people thrive together.
Good Luck, Dave!
As August 1st approaches, the entire HF Group family is behind you, Dave. We admire your bravery, your dedication to honoring Jenna’s memory, and your commitment to the British Heart Foundation.
See you at the bottom!
