Exciting Opportunity for a Security Contract Manager – Glasgow and Edinburgh

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join the HF family in a permanent role that offers unique challenges, a varied workload, and excellent career progression opportunities. We are currently looking for skilled Security Contract Managers to join our dynamic Fire and Security Division in both our Glasgow or Edinburgh branches.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience.

Hours of Work: Your normal hours of work will be approximately 45 hours per week, typically working 5 out of 7 days, unless otherwise agreed. You may be required to work additional hours as necessary for the efficient performance of your duties, depending on the needs of the project.

The Role: As a Security Contract Manager, you will bring strong management and administration experience, excellent communication and numerical skills, and a collaborative approach to working with a dedicated team. You will thrive in an environment with strict deadlines and be a key part of our successful operations in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Role

The successful candidate will be required to complete the following daily tasks:

  • Managing engineers and admin staff
  • Management of the reactive maintenance and project installations
  • Accurate pricing of quotations from small repairs to new large projects and upgrades
  • Maintain positive client relationships through excellent service levels, value for money provision and proactive communication.
  • Ensure all KPIs are measured and delivered in line with client’s expectations.
  • Support and develop your team to ensure the highest professional standards are achieved at all times
  • Support all staff members in maintaining the company’s professional and corporate accreditations such as BAFE, NSI Gold
  • Skill Sets and experience
  • Qualified or experienced security alarm engineer with a wealth of knowledge in commercial fire detection and security systems, including: Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control & CCTV
  • Knowledge and experience of contract admin and commercially aware of financial elements for project delivery
  • Proficient in security system design and specification, be able to provide system designs to meet industry standards
  • Be familiar with a variety of makes and models of fire & intruder alarms system
  • Computer literacy essential, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word etc
