At the beginning of December, the Christmas Trees went up in all the HF offices across the country.
But they didn’t go up early because we were excited about Christmas but because we were running a charity collection that we were calling ‘Gift a Gift’.
Many UK children will wake up on Christmas to no toys and we wanted to help change that! This year, all the Xmas trees in our branches in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast and Aberdeen had tags added to them giving the age and gender of a child that members of HF were able to buy a present for.
It may not be much but if it can help put smiles on more faces on Christmas Day then all for the better. And we are delighted to say that many of the HF family ‘over delivered’ with generosity and we managed to donate a huge number of presents to children of all ages this Christmas. From toys to clothes, footballs, art supplies…..there was a lot.

Each branch nominated their own charity to donate to with the Glasgow office selecting Cash for Kids, the Edinburgh office selecting The Salvation Army, Manchester picking Children’s Services, Belfast selecting Planet Radio and Aberdeen choosing Barnardo’s.
Christmas is the time for giving and we are incredibly proud of the generosity of so many members of the HF team this Christmas.
