Celebrating Andy McKay – A Fundraising Champion

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Andy McKay, Head of Construction at HF Comms, who has been honoured with a prestigious fundraising award by the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Andy’s extraordinary efforts have raised over £230,000 with Gift Aid for the BHF, making a profound impact in the fight against heart disease. Andy was recognised at the BHF Heart Hero Awards, held at the glamorous Bloomsbury Ballroom in London. This memorable evening celebrated individuals and groups who have gone above and beyond to support the BHF’s mission. Hosted by TV and radio presenter Yinka Bokinni, the event showcased inspiring stories of resilience and generosity. Among these incredible stories was Andy’s journey—a testament to dedication, passion and the power of community.

The heartfelt acknowledgment of his efforts resonated deeply, not just with Andy but with all who know and admire him including the entire HF team.

Andy’s fundraising milestone is a shining example of a commitment to community and social responsibility. His passion for the cause has not only raised substantial funds but also increased awareness about the vital work of the BHF. Andy’s achievements highlight the extraordinary impact that one individual can make when driven by a genuine desire to help others. And we are proud that so many of Andy’s colleagues at HF have helped along the way.  From charity golf events to scaling Ben Nevis, Sky Diving and the annual walking challenges, it has been almost guaranteed that members of the HF team have been alongside Andy when he has been completing these mammoth fundraising events.
