Walter Scott recently undertook a significant refurbishment of their office toilet facilities to modernise and improve functionality. HF was chosen to carry out the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works, ensuring the new layout and systems met the highest standards of efficiency and comfort.

Brief Project Description: Our Mechanical Engineers were tasked with implementing a new toilet layout with contemporary features such as concealed toilet frames and wall-hung floating pans. We installed a new disabled WC to improve accessibility and upgraded the facilities to underslung wash hand basins for a sleek, hygienic finish.

We also installed new radiators throughout the toilet areas for better heating and enhanced the existing ventilation system for improved air quality and comfort.

Our inhouse team redesigned the toilet layout to include concealed toilet frames and wall-hung floating pans. This modern design not only improves the aesthetic appeal but also simplifies cleaning and maintenance, contributing to better hygiene. The new underslung wash hand basins that we installed are also easy to clean and maintain, enhancing the overall hygiene of the toilet facilities while offering a seamless and contemporary look.

Project Challenges: Often the biggest challenge when working on toilet and bathroom upgrades is the limited space.  However the Walter Scott Office space was spacious enough to allow our plumbing and heating engineers ample room to complete the work to the expected high quality standards that HF has become known for.
