Working within their 10,000 sq ft Edinburgh headquarters, our engineers conducted a comprehensive audit to bridge the gap between their existing hardware and modern compliance standards. By integrating their systems into our advanced monitoring infrastructure and resolving legacy faults, we delivered a robust, insurance-approved security solution that protects their high-value assets—including specialized printing technology and vehicle wrapping facilities—without causing a single hour of operational downtime.

We then integrated their existing system into our advanced monitoring infrastructure, upgrading control interfaces and resolving faults left unresolved in the existing system.
Our team replaced outdated security sensors and reprogrammed zones to align with the businesses evolving business footprint, ensuring they retain, where possible, existing fire and security devices that were fit for purpose.
Once all of the upgrade work was completed, we implemented a proactive service plan with scheduled inspections, remote diagnostics, and 24/7 monitoring.
During the upgrade works, we ensured there was zero operational disruption, giving Specialized Signs peace of mind from day one. The printers now have a robust, fully functional fire and intruder alarm system that meets all relevant compliance and insurance standards. The risk to staff, assets, and infrastructure has been significantly reduced with properly functioning systems and reliable service.
