Our electrician Callan White aims for Top Spot at SJIB/Edmundson Awards Final

The entire team at HF is buzzing with anticipation as one of our electricians Callan prepares for the SJIB/Edmundson Awards Final this Thursday evening. Callan is a top-three finalist for the prestigious award, a monumental achievement that has everyone at HF incredibly proud.

Callan’s journey with HF began in 2019, starting with work experience before he officially joined our Edinburgh branch full-time in January 2020—just ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, he has proven himself to be a dedicated and exceptional member of the team.

His talent shone brightest when he sat his FICA Exam in January 2024. Unbeknownst to him at the time, Callan’s result was extraordinary. Out of over 800 candidates who took the exam, Callan’s score ranked among the top ten best overall.

This outstanding performance automatically made him a candidate for the SJIB/Edmundson Award. After an intense interview process with the other nine top-scoring candidates, Callan secured his place as one of the final three finalists.

Win or lose, being a finalist among hundreds of the nation’s best new electricians is a huge honour that highlights the exceptional talent nurtured at HF.The awards ceremony takes place this Thursday and the whole company sends its heartfelt best wishes.
