As part of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced Approved Electrician’s for our Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen & Manchester offices, covering commercial installation and maintenance work throughout both England & Scotland.
Our clients include major healthcare facilities and hospitality businesses. We’re particularly interested in engineers with strong fault-finding backgrounds who can diagnose problems quickly and get systems back up and running.
The successful candidates will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on commercial electrical systems across Scotland – hospitals, hotels and other large-scale sites.
- Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, restoring services within SLA’s and making systems safe in emergency situations.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Valid 18th Edition & SJIB Grade (ECS) card
- Strong fault-finding capabilities
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
- Experience of installation and maintenance works
- Full UK driving licence
- BMS experience (desirable)
- Experience with domestic and commercial heating systems (desirable)
- HVAC controls experience (desirable)
- C&G 2391/2394/2395 qualification (desirable)
- Compex/First Aid qualifications (desirable)
