Taking place on Tuesday 11 August 2026 (12:30 to 14:00) at a Glasgow city centre venue to be announced shortly, this high-value session brings together senior decision makers from across the built environment to address one of the industry’s most critical challenges – navigating long-term strategy in a volatile economic landscape.
Unlocking Fresh Insights with Professor Bill Minnis
Leading the interactive conversation is Professor Bill Minnis, globally recognised expert in strategic planning and former Dean of the Business School at Stockton University, New Jersey. Following his keynote address at last year’s Scottish Construction Summit where he challenged delegates to rethink leadership models and embrace a “barriers create opportunity” philosophy—Professor Minnis returns to Glasgow to deliver tailored, actionable insights.
In the build-up to the event, SCN is hosting a dedicated Strategy Planning Survey, designed by Professor Minnis. Data-driven results gathered from across the sector will be unveiled live during the session, giving attendees exclusive access to real-time benchmarks and industry trends.
