When a popular establishment in Glasgow’s East End faced a total loss of heating and hot water due to equipment failure, our Mechanical division stepped in to provide an emergency high-efficiency solution.

The Challenge

The existing boiler unit had reached a critical point of failure. Upon inspection by our Gas Safe engineers, it was discovered that both the external casing and the internal flue system had suffered from severe corrosion.

This was not just an efficiency issue; it was a safety concern that left the pub without the vital heating and hot water services required to remain operational and compliant with health and safety standards for hospitality.

The Solution

• Removal of Corroded Plant: Safe extraction of the failing boiler and the compromised flue system.

• System Commissioning: Full testing and calibration to ensure the pub was back to full operational capacity with minimal downtime.
