Brief project description: As part of a drive towards reducing energy consumption and lowering their carbon footprint, Burger King UK wanted to switch to LED Lighting for their restaurants across the country.  Our Manchester branch were contracted to carry out the electrical work for the replacement of the existing lighting system at their sites in Derby, England.  This involved the disconnection and removal of their existing lighting system and the supply and install of new energy efficient LED lighting.

There are many advantages for business when upgrading to LED lighting from inefficient halogen and compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) including:

Project Challenges: As with so much of the work we carry out in the hospitality and food sectors, it is a fast paced environment and to ensure minimal disruption for the customers on site, our electricians had to complete their work during the early hours of the day when site traffic is at its lowest. The challenge of working around both customers and staff however is something we are more than used to with the various mechanical, electrical and fire & security work we do for Pubs, Clubs, Bars & Restaurants across the UK.
