Design & MarketingOn the week before Halloween, the HF branches in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast and Aberdeen all sat down for lunch at the same time.
While hundreds of miles still separated the different branches, our Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Security, Telecommunications and Automated Controls team all got to come together in a feast of all sorts of delicious food. And all for a good cause. Everyone who joined us on the day helped contribute money towards charity and one week later, we got to deliver those proceeds in the form of Long Life Milk!
Local foodbanks operate through donations from Churches, Schools, Fund Raising and Workplace Food Drives like the ones we organise throughout the year. And all the food that they collect is then divided into parcels including tinned and dried fruit, vegetables, toiletries etc.
So rather than simply donate money, we focused on what the local foodbank needs most. And top of their most wanted list is Long Life Milk. So that is exactly what we did.
The HF team delivered two shopping trollies full of Long Life Milk to the local Food Bank and we can only hope that this contribution helps those that need it the most.
While 2023 is fast coming to a close, we already have a variety of fundraising events planned for 2024 so we look forward to being able to do more of these kind of fundraising events in the future which brings our different divisions and branches closer together, all while benefiting local causes.
