HF were contracted to resolve a faulty heating control system at a local tennis club, which had caused the temperature within the squash courts section of the facility to become uncomfortable for members and visitors.
The existing heating system had been installed by an external contractor and, over the years, had struggled to cope with multiple upgrades and alterations to the site’s heating requirements. This had led to an unreliable system, particularly in areas with high usage such as the squash courts.
Works included the installation of a new remote thermostat for easy control of the squash courts temperature, as well as the installation of a new electrical supply to accommodate the recently fitted boiler system.
The tennis clubs heating control system had become faulty causing the temperature within the Squash Courts section of the facility to become ‘uncomfortable’.
The heating control system had previously been fitted by an external heating contractor and over the years, the system had struggled to cope with various upgrades and alterations to the sites heating requirements.
One of our Glasgow electrician HF members was dispatched to install a new remote thermostat and ensure that a new electrical supply was installed for the new boiler that had been fitted at the tennis club.
Project Challenges: As mentioned, the various alterations to the heating system throughout the years meant that a complete overhaul of the heating control system was required. The challenge for our electrical contract team was to ensure that the new system would connect with the newly installed boiler system.
The end result is that the Tennis Club now has a far more user friendly control system that comes complete with a remote temperature control unit for the squash courts area itself.
