HF’s Mechanical Contracts Team were engaged to refurbish a city-centre flat in Edinburgh’s prestigious Great King Street. The project involved upgrading the existing heating system with a new gas boiler and installing a designer bathroom tailored to the client’s specifications.
The bespoke bathroom radiators required extremely accurate pipework installation prior to delivery, leaving no room for error. Tight scheduling meant our engineers had to work efficiently to ensure the radiators could be fitted immediately upon arrival.
Our mechanical contracts team were involved in the refurbishment of a city centre flat in Edinburgh’s Great King Street.
The work involved upgrading the flats existing heating system with a new gas boiler and fitting out a new designer bathroom for the client.
Project Challenges: The radiators that were to be fitted in the new bathroom were bespoke and manufactured to the clients specification. To ensure a precise fit, our engineers had to be spot on (as they always are) with the measurements for the radiator installation which required the installation of all the pipe work prior to the radiators arriving on site.
The project was completed to an extremely tight window to ensure that all the work was completed on schedule for the bespoke parts to be fitted when delivered.

At the end of the project, the client was very happy with our work but the highest praise came from the clients architect who commented how pleased they were with hour our mechanical engineers went about their work and how neat and tidy the installation work was.
