Mental health problems can affect lives, families, workplaces and communities yet are too often dismissed or ignored rather than treated or talked about. World Mental Health Day wants people to recognise that mental health should be treated just like physical health for the benefit of both the individuals who are suffering from mental health issues and for society as a whole.
At HF, we consider all of our employees as part of the family and invaluable assets to our ongoing success. So we continually look at ways to invest in training and development, allowing the entire team to share in a thriving and mutually supportive working environment. One of the most important things we can invest in is the mental health of our employees and one of the ways we do this is through something called Perkbox.
What is Perkbox?

Powered by Health Assured, this completely free programme includes a team of qualified therapists on hand to offer support with a range of emotional, legal and financial issues – 24/7. Completely confidential, 365 days a year.
What else we offer…
While Perkbox is a great asset for our employees to use, we also have long term staff within HF who have taken Mental Health Training Courses so that whether employees want to turn to a friendly face or, should they feel more comfortable, turn to a confidential programme and phone service like Perbox, we have options that will suit them.
