We are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Repair Electrician to join our Electrical Division in our Glasgow branch.
The position
You will have strong experience in the electrical industry and be happy to work in a team alongside like-minded individuals working to strict deadlines.
This is a long-term position within our Glasgow branch.
The successful candidate will be required to complete the following daily tasks:
- Day to day repairs, fault finding and small installation works within primarily commercial properties.
- Recording reports and time sheets via company issued smartphone
- Logging details of works carried out on customer portals and apps as applicable
- Compiling accurate & Details survey reports where applicable
- Managing your workload, prioritising according to urgency and client expectations.
- Maintaining high levels of communication with customers and service team
What you need
- Valid 18th Edition & SJIB Grade (ECS) card
- Wide experience of Installation and Maintenance works
- Fault Finding capabilities
- Experience of wiring and understanding all form of domestic & commercial heating systems
- Experience with HVAC / heating controls and installation
- Ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Appreciation & understanding of all relevant aspects of Health & Safety
- A full clean driving license
- Ability to work to deadlines
- A positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Flexibility & versatility
- Willingness to work away from home
Desirable assets
- BMS experience
- Gas Safe or F Gas qualifications
- Access equipment certificates
- Compex/First Aid qualifications
- C&G 2391/2394/2395 qualification
- Further Education in Electrical Engineering
- Leadership experience
- Computer Literate
