We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to join the HF family in a permanent role that promises unique challenges, a varied workload and great career progression opportunities within the company.

We are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Coordinator to join our Glasgow branch.

Salary negotiable upon experience circa £21-£24k per annum.

Hours of work Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:45, Friday 08:30 – 16:00

The Position

You will have strong administration experience, excellent communication and numerical skills and be happy to work in a team alongside like-minded individuals working to strict deadlines.

This is a long-term position with flexible working arrangements in our Glasgow branch.

The Role

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Invoice and credit note posting for the HF Group in accordance with procedures to include dealing with any queries.
  • Account maintenance – to open any new accounts in accordance with procedures and ensure that the database is kept up to date at all times.
  • Reconcile statements
  • Providing administrative support to the accounts department.
  • Chasing and updating out of date subcontractor insurances and putting accounts on stop
  • Dealing with general purchase ledger enquiries.
  • Liaising with suppliers and management regarding any queries
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Filing data and perform other routine clerical tasks as required
  • Operate a variety of standard office machines; computer / telephone / photocopier / printer etc.
