We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to join the HF family in a permanent role that promises unique challenges, a varied workload and great career progression opportunities within the company.

We are currently looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join our team.

Salary: £23k – £24k depending on experience.
38 hours per week although this could be negotiated

The position

This is an exciting role which provides administrative support to the Group HR Manager.

This is a long-term position with flexible working arrangements in our Glasgow branch.

This role provides a great opportunity to join our Company, either as a first step in a HR career or as an experienced administrator.

The Role

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing HR administrative support to the HR Manager
  • Producing employee induction packs and contracts of employment
  • Supporting with recruitment and lifecycle administration such as applications, arranging interviews and referencing
  • Accurately updating and maintaining the HR database
  • Processing sensitive and confidential information ensuring compliance with Company processes and data protection regulations
  • Administration of learning programmes, activities and qualifications ensuring adherence to internal procedures e.g., booking courses, rolling out E-Learning, printing handouts and sending out invitations
  • Any other administrational duties as assigned by the HR Manager

What you need

  • Proven experience of working in a busy and demanding environment where data entry and reporting deadlines have to be met, whilst managing changing priorities
  • Excellent and effective people and communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and use own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
  • Strong PC skills including working knowledge of MS office applications
  • Ability to follow internal HR processes and procedures effectively
