Project Description: Our Fire & Security team recently completed the upgrade work for My5s, a newly opened football facility in Kilmarnock that offers high-quality five-a-side and seven-a-side pitches. The project involved a comprehensive takeover of the site’s security systems, ensuring the venue was fully protected with state-of-the-art alarm and monitoring solutions.
The key goals for this project included taking over the existing Intruder Alarm system, upgrading it and ensuring its seamless integration with our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) for 24/7 monitoring.
Similarly, the site’s Fire Alarm system was also brought under our management, ensuring fire safety protocols are maintained in line with the latest standards and regulations.
Both Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems are now fully monitored through our ARC, providing round-the-clock protection for the facility.
Project Challenges: The new 5-a-side venue is taking over a previous business that was based at the site. So the project began with assessing the current security infrastructure to determine what needed replaced, upgraded and integrated. After a detailed evaluation, the existing Intruder Alarm system was taken over and updated to communicate directly with our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), providing the site with rapid response capabilities in case of any breach or incident.
We ensured that the Fire Alarm system also transitioned smoothly under our control, guaranteeing that it meets safety compliance and offers immediate alerts in case of emergencies.
Throughout the takeover process, minimal disruption to the daily operations of My5s was ensured. Both systems were tested thoroughly to guarantee reliable performance moving forward. With the ARC in place, My5s now benefits from continuous monitoring of both their Fire and Intruder systems, providing peace of mind to both the management team and visitors alike.
The integration of the alarm systems into HF’s ARC has significantly improved the security and safety infrastructure at the My5s facility. The fire safety system is now compliant with the latest fire safety regulations, ensuring the safety of all visitors. In the event of an emergency, My5s can rely on quick response times due to the real-time monitoring capabilities provided by our ARC.
