Brief project description: Full Electrical Services Strip out and replacement.
The Citizen bar and dining rooms are set in the beautiful surroundings of this completely restored grade A1 listed building. Founded in 1842,The Evening Citizen was one of the first evening Newspapers in Glasgow.
In 1889 the paper’s publishing offices moved into 24 St. Vincent Place, Glasgow purpose built and Scotland’s first Red Sandstone building. This was also one of the first buildings in the city to be fully electric.
Project Challenges: Any works within a Grade A1 listed building are not without challenges, but here at HF it’s an area that we excel in, with a vast experience of working within this type of property.
