Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity with the aim of making sure that nobody faces dementia alone. They provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families across Scotland. And as part of their growth, they have been expanding into a new office in Perth that covers the region. At HF Fire & Security, we have been working with Alzheimer Scotland for a number of years and handle all of their fire & security needs across all of their sites in Scotland.
The new office in Perth is one of 24 sites they have across the country and we were responsible for the installation of a new intruder alarm system, access control system, automatic doors and fire alarm upgrade.
Project Challenges:
As with so many office fit out projects, the main challenges of installing fire & security systems is working around other contractors both in terms of timing and space. We are of course very used to working in these environments so while challenging, they pose no issues for us when it comes to getting the job done.
