We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to join the HF family in a permanent role that promise unique challenges, a varied workload and great career progression opportunities within the company.

We are currently looking to recruit a Fleet Co-Ordinator to join us based out of Glasgow branch.

Salary negotiable upon experience. £24,000 – £26,000

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:45, Friday 08:30 – 16:00

 

The Position

You will have strong administration experience, excellent communication and numerical skills and be happy to work in a team alongside like-minded individuals working to strict deadlines.

This is a long-term position with flexible working arrangements in our Glasgow branch.

The Role

  • Hire all vehicles across various HF Divisions including Electrical, Mechanical, Fire & Security and Controls, raising all monthly van PO’s, receipting and dealing with related invoices.
  • Ensuring Insurance database is kept up to date with vehicles and drivers.
  • Ensuring that operatives are eligible to drive company vehicles
  • Tracking and issuing fuel cards
  • Dealing with any fines and ensuring deductions are done
  • Dealing with the Company vehicle insurance / logging / tracking and see claims process through and ensuring that negligent damages are recovered from the employee
  • Updating the van spreadsheet / fuel costs / average mileage and producing average fuel cost report
  • Carrying out van spot checks and liaising with managers in other offices to carry out van spot checks
  • Dealing with any driver complaints from the public
  • Maintaining Tracker website and accuracy of vehicle allocation. Performing spot checks
  • Servicing & MOT tracking & organisation
  • Travel, accommodation, Hotels.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Filing data and perform other routine clerical tasks as required
  • Operate a variety of standard office machines; computer / telephone / photocopier / printer etc.
