Electric Vehicle Charging is not something that simply anyone can do. In the same way that only Gas Engineers who are Gas Safe Registered can work on a boiler, you must be qualified to work on the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points.
Which is why we are so proud that members of our Green Energy Team have become certified through the Electric Vehicle Charging (2919) Qualification run by City and Guilds.
The qualification provides key knowledge and understanding on electric vehicle charging equipment and the installation process.
As qualified electrical contractors, this qualification is an extra ‘feather in the cap’ for our practicing electricians who, thanks to this qualification can install a wide range of equipment and systems needed for Electric Vehicle charging.
The course covers a range of knowledge and skills areas and looks at inspection and testing as well as the handling of electric vehicle charging equipment.
