We are currently looking to recruit AC Engineers to join our Mechanical & Electrical division.

The Position

Due to expansion and internal promotion, we are currently looking for two engineers with strong experience working on air conditioning systems (splits, multi splits & VRF/VRV) and air handling units, working in a growing team of like-minded individuals to carry out works to the highest standard.

This is a long-term position based from our Edinburgh branch working primarily in Edinburgh & the Lothians, the Borders and the central belt of Scotland with occasional travel.

Manufacturer and industry training provided as part of engineer development & training programme.

The Role

The successful candidate will be required to carry put the following works:

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive service & maintenance of air conditioning systems and air handling units in a mixture of healthcare, commercial & retail premises
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs of air conditioning systems and air handling units
• Carry out occasional installation of split & multi split systems
• Work to company Air Conditioning policy and current F-Gas Regulations
• Completion of report sheets & compliance documentation for each job

What you need

• Minimum SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning
• City & Guilds 2079 Cat.1 – F-Gas & ODS Regulation or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• SHTM 03-01 Competent Person (Ventilation) an advantage but full training will be provided where required.
• Full driving licence
• Excellent organisation & communication skills
